IMG_1599.jpgCoach Todd grew up in Garland area and has been around the game as a player or coach for over 40 years. Currently, he serves as the director of coaching for the Wylie based Mutiny FC and also coaches the 2000 girls team.

Todd has held a “C” USSF National level coaching license since 1996.  His experience in coaching select soccer in the Dallas area includes boys and girls’ teams at the Classic level, Arlington select and Plano select leagues since 1985. He coached with clubs such as Sparta, Arsenal, Southwest, Bluestreaks, Sting, Texas Spurs, Texas Legacy and Mutiny FC. During this time he has been responsible for the development of over 200 players, several of which went on to play in college. He has also coached at the semi-professional level in the USISL serving as both a head coach and player coach for the Addison Arrows, Texas Stampede and Texas Arsenal. Todd coached the Dallas Alliance and Sting select women teams that reached the National Championship final four, three times. He has also served as an OPD coach for several years with North Texas, as well as instructed coaching courses for various license levels.  

He began is professional career with the Dallas Americans in 1985. His professional/semi-professional playing experience includes 1 year in USL with the Dallas Americans and 7 years in the USISL, with Addison Arrows, Tulsa Roughnecks, and Texas Stampede. While playing in the USISL was named to the all star team 4 times, voted Goalkeeper of the Year in 1988, earned the honor of the 1987 championship series defensive MVP, and named defensive player of the game over 25 times and defensive player of the week for the league over 10 times during his career. 

Todd played college soccer at Chapman University and Hardin Simmons from 1980 to 1984, while at Chapman he set a school record for most shutouts in a season, 11, which still stands today.  He also played at North Garland high school, during which time he was named all city twice and all district his senior year and was selected to the North Texas State ODP team during that time.

Todd has been married to his wife Pam for 24 years, they met playing soccer.  Their three children, Kasey, Meaghan and Madison are also soccer players and participate in the Mutiny club.

While in college he earned a BBA in finance and currently is the Managing Director of Marketing for First Rate, Inc.
