Kristi grew up with a love and passion for soccer.  While playing as a youth she played with Sting Soccer Club and Solar Soccer Club.  While playing with Sting her teams won the State Championship, Regional Championship and were runners-up in Nationals.  She played at Bryan Adams High School where she was the team captain, named 2nd Team All-State and was chosen as Defensive Player of the Year.

After high school Kristi attended Concordia University in Nebraska on a soccer scholarship.   She was selected Co-Player of the Conference her freshman year, and MVP chosen by her team every year she played.  Kristi was selected by the school 4 times for Athlete of the Week throughout her soccer career in college.  Kristi lead her college team in goals and assists her freshman and junior year.

Aside from the many skills sessions she has worked, Kristi’s first coaching experience was when she was 14 years old.  She obtained her first “F” coaching license at that time as well as her passion for coaching.  Kristi was also an assistant coach with the ’98G Silver FC Dallas team.  Kristi received her State “D” coaching license in 2009 and looks forward to progressing to her “A”.

Kristi’s philosophy is that she wants the kids to maintain their love for the game.  “Basics are the key, but I want to teach the girls to work hard and to maintain the confidence to be successful on and off the field.”
