"Built in the Community, for the Community"
David Shaw
David grew up with soccer in Pennsylvania. Coach David currently holds a "D" License and has been coaching at the Recreational and Competitive Level for over 15 years. He and his family have been involved with North Texas Select soccer clubs for over 10 years. Coach David and the Mutiny Futbol Club believe that every player deserves a chance to play.
His coaching philosophy is that each player should be given the coaching, tools, time, encouragement, leadership and individual attention to develop their skills in order to reach their full potential. Each player is provided the tools and direction to help them reach their individual goals, whether that is to play at the High School, College or Professional Level. His recently graduated Mutiny 93 Girls team finished the Plano Premier I season in First Place for the 2010-11 Competitive Season.
The Mutiny 94 Girls soccer team is focused on preparing girls to continue playing soccer beyond high school. The coaching staff works hard to provide its players visibility with college recruiters, coaches and the collegiate programs available throughout the United States. Coach David is not looking for stars. He is dedicated to developing leaders and responsible adults that can turn their fellow players into stars with their work ethic, commitment, leadership and self-discipline. Coach David is a resident of Rowlett Texas and has been married for 21 years. He has three children, two boys ages 24 and 22 who played Club and Select soccer, and a daughter 20 who is a competitive dancer. He also has two Granddaughters ages 6 and 10 months that are the future soccer stars in the family.
